LOM is a highly customizable and user-programmable high-speed laser triangulation sensor based on Optomotive FPGA camera technology.
It is designed for high performance inspection and can achieve inspection rates up to 10kHz with the 2MP high speed industrial AMS imaging sensor. Excellent data of shiny and other challenging surfaces is generated by optimized optical design, in-camera PEAK Detection and blue laser light.
The LOM Sensors include high-performance ARM system-on-chip (SoC) technology, combined with top-quality laser line projector. Sensor is factory calibrated and supports two simultaneous streams: image and 3D profile.
To instal the LOM scanner, you need to connect the ethernet cable to the housing. The scanner uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) so it does not require an additional power supply. It comes with housing that is designed for installation in the most demanding spaces.
Scanning can take place via a conveyor belt or on the spot so that the objects are exchanged. It uses high-precision hardware to provide you with the most accurate scans.
The scanner comes with on-board calibration, multiple profiles, an imaging pipeline with PEAK detection IP Core, and 4 general purposes isolated I/Os. The firmware can be upgraded to add new features and expand the range of use of the scanner.
The high-quality sensor is capable of capturing from 333 frames per second with a resolution of 2048x1088 pixels, up to 7435 frames per second with a resolution of 2048x32 pixels.
The device is connected via gigabit ethernet for data transfer, through which it is also powered, which means that it does not need an additional power supply connection.
It is delivered in a CNC housing, that is robust and modern which allows it to be used in any condition.
